Opening Christmas Gifts – December 17, 2004
Even Jacks got a Christmas present. He knew exactly what to do with it and immediately dove under the coffee table and unwrapped his plush toy in a matter of seconds. Jacks has often been found under the coffee table which is a favorite hiding spot to open and chew on or eat things he knows he shouldn't have. Fitting under the table used to be easy when jacks was a few weeks old, but he barely fits there anymore. |

August 14, 2005 July & August is usually a break from watching kids, but this year we took care of Jacks & his brother Leo while their families vacationed and they quickly made themselves right at home. Scamp sleeps on the floor beside our bed, but Jacks & Leo figured that the large bed was for them & Sylvia. This left me constantly fighting for a little space for myself and trying to explain that the bed was not their's, but mine, however they refused to listen. |

Scamp is not always as brave as in the above photo. Peeking over, or around, items he finds to hide behind is more typical of how he keeps an eye on me. (More about this behaviour is HERE) |
Scamp and his guests had fun inventing games to play and Jacks won 'King of the Kid's Picnic Table'

Pets are usually cared for by humans, but sometimes the roles are reversed. |
